Hi, my name is Mitchell Torres!
I have lived in Vancouver Washington my whole life. I am currently a student at Washington State University Vancouver. I am currently studying Digital Technology and Culture, and Integrated Strategic Communication under the Humanities degree.

I am a very creative person and enjoy storytelling a great deal. Though I’m creative, my drawing skills leave much to be desired, so I express it in a different way film making. More specifically, I enjoy filming and editing.
Of course, I watch a lot of movies too. I personally enjoy character driven movies, and shows. If I had to pick a favorite genera it would probably be westerns. And I’m not limiting myself to westerns such as The Good The Bad and The Ugly, space westerns like Star Wars are very much included in that list.
Okay, so what do I want to do as a career?
My goal is to work for a media production company, ideally one that allows me to not only do film, but also edit videos. Long term, I want to write and produce shows for streaming companies such as Netflix, or Disney. Creating original shows is something that I have wanted to do ever since I was in high school, and I fully intend on getting there at some point.
But in the meantime…
